I'd like to get started on doing my own Kefir but to be quite honest I just don't have a clue where to start. Is there anybody out there who's interested in sharing their “seeds” or who can give me direction on a reliable source to get my own? Thanks in advance.

Sorry it's taken me this long to respond, haven't been on the board in a couple of days. I'm Toni in Springfield Missouri and have plenty of kefir grains that I would love to send you. I can send you a heaping 1/4 cup of grains that should get you started along with a simple one page instruction sheet, all I ask is that you reimburse me for the postage, generally $2-$3.
This is my first time posting on the new system and I'm not sure if my email will show or not, so here it is tottendorf@hotmail I'll just need your address and the grains can will be in the mail on Monday the 25th.
