Okay, so those of us with RA have a higher probability of getting heart disease:(
do the benefits never end?;) A friend of mine said to me last week that I should be having cardio risk tests done, mind you my rheumy has never said one thing about this….no surprise there! Do any of you get a heart workup done? And if so what doctor would do that, family practitioner, cardiologist…I don't know where to start or if this is even necessary so any info is appreciated.

There is a thyroid-infection-heart disease connection. Broda Barnes has written about this. Good book(s).

One of the best things you can do is balance your thyroid. And sex hormones.
