Generic minocycline vs. brand-name

Here's proof that there's a definite difference between generic minocycline and brand-name minocycline.

With respect to vestibular adverse events, a statistically significant difference was noted with vestibular symptoms reported on 5 days with the brand formulation and 20 days with the generic formulations (P = .0003). A total of 5 and 27 vestibular reaction episodes were observed with the brand and generic formulations, respectively. The incidence of vestibular adverse events was 5.4 times greater with the generic capsule formulations of minocycline.

In plain English, this means that generic minocycline is more likely to cause dizziness, vertigo, and blurred vision compared to Dynacin (the brand that they tested).
