    I did some research on generic minocycline sold in the USA and thought I would post it for the benefit of others. It seems to me that some of the information passed around on this forum about the various generics may be outdated or inaccurate, so hopefully this will help to correct some of that.

    Hi–The complete list of generic makers of minocycline is available in the
    FDA.s orange book –there are quite a bit more producers –Dr Reddys has been banned from importing generics from their Mexican facility –IMO -there are excellent companies mentioned on your list as well as another company that I wouldnt use personally —-

    Hi Richie,

    You are correct, it is not an exhaustive list. I tried to cover the generics that people would most likely encounter, but excluded most companies that merely repackage another company’s product. I also left out the generic minocycline types that are not bioequivalent to Minocin.

    As for which of those generics are the best, I chose not to make any recommendations. At least for now. I will edit my post to make that clear.
