Hey, I have a dry patch of skin forming on one of my fingers.  It's darker colored, a little smoothe looking and firmer than the skin around it.  It's small- the size of a fingernail.  I've had it for about a month.  Should I be concerned about sceleroderma?  Nothing seems to make it go away.  I've used coco  butter on it.  No difference.  It's getting darker and more noticable.  I'm not in a dry weather climate or prone to any kind of dry skin.  Elbows, knees, shins… never dry.

Update:  It's getting bigger.  Looks like a patch of burned skin.  Oh, well.  Whatever.  if it continues..  I may have to go look into marrying a Canadian in order to get treatment.
