The past 3 months have been agony. My whole leg swelled up, I had a fever and intense pain in both knees. I went to the ER and they found baker’s cysts in both knees. I went to a rheum who said I didn’t have ra antibodies. I’ve been taking supplements but now my knees, ankles, hips and finger/toes hurt terribly. I’m only 57 and I can barely walk. I don’t know what to do.

I’ve been in lyme treatment for 7 years and had every antibiotic possible. I was so bad that I was dxd with ALS by 4 neurologists. With lyme treatment and monthly ivig, I regained my strength and breathing ability. Now I get hit with this horrible joint pain! How do I stop this autoimmune reaction in my joints?

    Hi Lily,

So sorry you got hit with Lyme so badly. Did you get diagnosed with any tickborne coinfections? Are you still seeing your LLMD? Also, are you still dealing with ALS or is it mainly rheumatic symptoms now?
