Are there anyone who use both of them? Is it safe to take both of them? Any experiences? Thanks for help.

    Hi,

There is a drug interaction between clarithromycin and paroxetine.

    See: https://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=685-0,1800-0

They recommend avoiding that combination. Possible alternatives are azithromycin and roxithromycin. According to the table on this page, azithromycin and roxithromycin are minor inhibitors of CYP450 3A4:

And according to the data on this page, roxithromycin is not an inhibitor of CYP450 3A4:

    Thanks Phil.

My bp is normal however I have had palpitations before rea because of the panick attacks.
    Mostly it is racing.
So I am using tiny amounts of beta blocker and paroxetine given by my psychiatrist.

I am thinking of azithro 2 in a week as I saw in a study. It’s duration is short also. I am on my own here no docs for AP. Only the support and ideas given by some people here. Docs only prescribe drugs and do the blood checking as long as I want.

Successful treatment of postvenereal reactive arthritis with synovectomy and 3 months’ azithromycin.

    Thanks E
