    Hi all,

I thought i would post this as i found it quite odd to see on a lab report.

On the bottom of my labs for ANA, it says ” approximately 20% of normal persons have an ANA titre of 1:40 or higher and approximately 5% have an ANA titre of 1:160 or higher.”

Of course, the other clinical tests like dsDNA , RF etc need to be done to see if there is disease present.

I just thought this odd that that many so called normal people have these positive numbers. Maybe they have infection but can fight it.

I just thought the %'s seem to be high . Have no idea how this may relate to followup in these people down the road and if they even keep track of who is who.

    Casey
