    Yes, roxithromycin seems to be more potent against some protozoa than azithromycin and clarithromycin. Of course, the susceptibility of different species and strains can vary, so it’s difficult to give a definitive answer. Of those three drugs, roxithromycin seems to be the safest, so it would be my first choice if I had access to it (roxithromycin is not available in the U.S.).
