Psoriatic Arthritis

Armen 2016 USA

In late 1997 a professional golfer that I’d known since I was a teenager saw me hunched over and limping. I was 39 years old and had been fighting psoriatic arthritis for more than 5 years. He asked what was wrong with me. I told him and he said “Murph has got the same thing and he’s cured.” Professional golfer Bob Murphy was sitting at a table about 30 feet away with his wife. Bob told me his story about how he had been out of golf until he found out about Road Back and that he was actively competing again with no pain.

I found a good DO and he looked at the literature and prescribed minocycline. 6 weeks later, I was running full speed with the kids playing soccer. After about 5 years on minocycline, I thought that I’d go off it at the same time as we relocated. That didn’t work, it came roaring back. I had to find a new doctor (DO). When he started me on minocycline again, it didn’t seem to be working anymore. So he put me on doxycycline and cephalexin, which worked in a few weeks. After a while he took me off the doxy and I’ve stayed on cephalexin since then.

Almost 20 years later, I’m on cephalexin and, other than the time I decided to see what would happen when I got off all antibiotics, I’ve been pain free. Joint damage was already done and I’ve had some fingers and toes fixed – but no pain!

Shame on the Arthritis industry and Rheumatologists for not using this treatment as the first treatment instead of harmful, life threatening drugs.
