    Hi Lynnie,

I read your story and the last one made me laugh and cry. I think this miserable illness attacks each of us different, but many times it seems like it is the same. There are days when I can hardly move my upper arm up or down or even try to put a jacket on is difficult. I have learned how to put cloths on different ways now that I can't do it like it was before.

I am glad you are feeling better and I hope it stays that way. I had bloodwork done last Friday ( 3-6-09). Hope to get an answer soon. They took 6 tubes of blood, the last was only half full, I just ran out of blood where they had stuck me.

I still have upper torso weakness and this puzzles the good doctor. She put me on brand Minocin. Also lamisil for the fungus on my fingers. She told me to up my vitamin D3, but all the info I have read about it says to get off it because too much vitamin D3 will have your natural receptors stop working. What is a person to do?

I hope you stay feeling well. Take care,

    Eva

Thank you Eva! I put that last entry into my Personal History thread because I had been trying to explain to a friend what those 19 days felt like from inside my body. It wasnt just about specific joint or tendon pain – it was what my whole body felt like even during the hours when acute pain wasnt there. And I decided I'd post the description I sent her so I'd remember it later down the track.

Let us know how your results are when you get them. And have you been tested for D3? Wondering how she knew to tell you to up the intake. You might consider asking her for her rationale on this. Take care. Lynnie

I'm like that my upper arms won't move up or forward I feel like i'm in a straight jacket. Are they worse after certain foods? Sometimes I feel that although my husband says not it just comes anytime.  I'm sorry it's a confusing time I have started vit d and calcium because I now have osteoporosis.  I think it's very confusing about vit d some say non but Dr mercola has don a lot of research and says it's a very improtant Vit and he also says to get tested for your levels. (not available here in UK I asked) so I take them as we don't have much sun.

Keep going and stay strong! (says she that needs to take her own advice)

    Lynnie,

I picked up my minocin today and will start on it next week. I have already put my weeks worth of meds together. I may start out with taking just one minocin on MWF and then up it the following week, just to be save. I have a problem with new medications and even supplements. I have to take it slow. Never been one to even take two Tylenol at the same time. They put me to sleep, at least they take the pain away.

I will let you know how I am doing done the road in a few weeks:)

Take care, hope you stay well.
