There has been an exponential increase in SPAM posts. Fortunately 99% of them are never seen on the open Forum because they sit waiting for moderator approval before being visible – and they are deleted (as is the user) as soon as seen.

Occasionally one will be visible on the open Forum as the registration process has managed to bypass the New Registration system. Please do not respond to these posts. Once the spam and the user has been deleted, any response posts will not make sense because the original has gone. Additionally, the vast majority of these are automated registrations from ‘spambots’ which means there is no “person” behind them, they are automated computer programs.

A new server will be up and running in the next few months which should greatly reduce the number of spam registrations.
