this is an interesting story. I know lots of us are taking probiotics to keep our gut healthy. This was one topic today at Healthiertalk.com. type n that and read about: How A Probiotic Can Keep You from Getting Fat.

A very interesting find, Eva! Thank you for posting it.
10 years ago, when I started putting on weight, I would have gone for it fast. But I have grown to like my soft padding since then and even though healing my gut is a priority #1 now, I want to keep my belly and curves! I wonder if this particular probiotic (Lactobacillus Plantarum) is unique in keeping one slimmer, preventing inflammation, etc. It would be interesting to find an article that lists all of them (well, the most prevalent ones) and compares the functions they perform. I don’t think it is really possible to separate them, they do work in harmony if the gut is healthy. And probably even a thick book devoted to the subject would not be able to cover everything the good bacteria does. Thanks again, Krys
