How do you find other members ? On the old forum you had an A -Z menu of members and their locations. I think the new forum Is OK but the welcome of Howdy is not an international greeting. Welcome Back , or Hello or Hi would be more recognised globally . “Howdy” reminds me of Woody in Toy Story.
Hi lemons
The reason for this forum platform is that the Foundation wanted something integrated with the new site, not separate to it as the old one was. The old site was on such an ancient server and was so difficult to update, many people only used the forum. It became the only ‘living’ part of the site. With this brand new website, the Foundation would like new (and not so new) people to be able to go to the website for information – and join the discussion if they want to. The forum will no longer be the only place where people can seek information and assistance.
This forum is an adjunct to the word press custom-built site which has enabled it to be integrated. Howdy is certainly not international as a greeting, but it is the standard one that comes with this format. We may see if that can be changed over time.
Whilst there is no list of members, you can search by username. Was there a particular reason you need a list?Be well! Lynnie

The greeting has now been changed to “hello” which I think is pretty universal. Give us some time with the other stuff. Unlike the old site which was static by its nature and its age, this one will be organic and able to change and grow over time : )Be well! Lynnie
