I decided to make the switch after 5 months on the doxy, back to the mino. I’ve had sore hands and feet for the last month consistently but no other painful spots. 12 hours after taking the mino my big toe was on fire, I couldn’t move my head to the right as the tendon(?) was so sore and my knee hurt bad. Now today those pains are better but my elbow is excruciating. Does it sound like a herx to you all? I didn’t have a herx with starting treatment or other changes, so this came as a surprise!
    Thank you, Kristie

    Hi Kristie,

It could be, but it is hard to tell. Here’s why: The mino you are taking contains corn starch. If you have developed a sensitivity to corn starch, then joint pain is a possible result. It’s the main reason why I avoid meds containing corn starch.
