Just read your posts about your husband. Prayerfully his hands will return to him.

On a personal note I’d like to share my hand experience – when the doctor wanted to send me to PT for my “frozen” hands my daughter strongly objected. She is a very experienced OT and she insisted I only see an OT Hand Specialist. I trusted her advice and have regained much of the use of my right hand and we are working on the left.

Many blessings and continued recovery to you and your husband.

I misspoke when I said he was going to PT. He will be seeing an Occupational Therapist.

    Maz-

How well did the antiemetic drugs work for your friend? Most people I know have been nauseated from surgical anesthesia.

    Hi Jan,

She said they made a difference and worked pretty well….she’d had a few surgeries in the past and, maybe more than anything, she had a real fear of waking up with the bad nausea she’d experienced in the past. The oncologist told her to mention this to the anesthesiologist at her pre-op evaluation and he made sure to include antiemetic meds. 🙂
