The research team is led by Peer Bork of the European Molecular Biology laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany. This study will probably be as significant as the discovery that people have different blood types. Very interesting! I wonder how much it’s going to complicate our probiotic intake? Seems like it really may be worthwhile to supplement probiotics with fermented vegetables and naturally fermented kefir / yogurt, just to make it richer. It may explain why some people on AP have no problems with gut microflora while taking regular probiotics, while others do the same and get yeast infection. I wonder if it’s going to influence the antibiotics prescribed to those 3 specific gut bacteria types.
Thanks for posting it! Warm wishes, Krys
