Hi Mary,
I’ve seen your post here several times, and keep intending to ask you if you’d mind sharing to what degree you saw eyes/cataract improvement. Also, I believe I’ve read that such drops can also be helpful to the eyes even after someone has had cataract surgeries. Wish I had known about this information before the surgeries, but am thinking the drops may improve the health of the eyes and adjacent areas, since the ophthalmologist/retinal specialist wanted me to continue using eye drops several times a day for dry eyes. Thanks for any information you might share.

Hello! I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes about 6 years ago. Was told by an opthamologist that I needed surgery on both eyes. (probably fron prednisone use many years ago that was given to me when I failed miserably on a short course of methotrexate)I discovered these eye drops while searching for alternative ideas on cataracts. Thought I had nothing to lose so gave them a good try for months. I used 2 drops in each eye twice a day. My next eye exam was interesting…not one mention of cataracts! My vision is 20/20 today and no further development of cataracts. During my research, I did read of people who saw benefit other than for cataracts…I think they mentioned clearer vision. Maintenance is a few drops/week…I continue to use them but only several times a week.
I hope this helps!

MaryMary, that’s the input I had hoped to hear!!! Thank you. Now, another question… which you can send me in a PM if you would like. Did you have to order the drops or find them locally? You can PM me the place if you’d prefer to do this. And thanks again!

June 9, 2015 at 3:00 pm #366786A FriendParticipantHello Mary, BellaB, Jan, Lemons, and other RBF friends,
Just wanted to share a bit of progress — which seems to me to be in the right direction. I ordered the eyedrops recommended by several of you; and began using them about two months ago. My opthalmologist/retinal specialist had kept telling me (at regular frequent appts) over the past year how dry my eyes were, and had me using moisturizing eyedrops four times a day. Every time she saw me after the two cataract surgeries in early 2014, she always seemed concerned they were still dry.
When I saw the eye doctor in May 2015 (about 2+ weeks ago), she seemed happy but surprised when she told me my eyes looked really good and were no longer dry — and asked me what I was using.
