    Has anyone taken a combination of minocycline along with arava for RA? What was your experience with this combination?

    Diagnosed with severe RA 12 years ago
    Tested positive for M. pneumoniae and C. pneumoniae

    Current meds: Kineret 100mg, doxycycline 50mg, cbd oil, and celebrex

    Supplements: fish oil, vitamin b12, folate, b6, iron, selenium, zinc, vitamin c, and biotin

    I haven’t tried this combination, but I had a huge eczema all over my body 2-3 days after I started using it.

    RA tried everything: Methotraxate, Arava, Humira. Pneumonia three times. Anemia. Very low iron. Hypothyroidism
    AP from April 2014 till August 2015. No luck.
    Current medications: Natural thyroid, Mobic, supplements,
    vitamins and minerals.
    MTHFR heterozygous

    Hi,

    I’ve never taken leflunomide, but if I did I wouldn’t start with a loading dose. I read that it’s safer that way (less likely to harm the liver).
