Has anyone used this therapy for multiple sclerosis? I have a sister and a dear friend struggling with this devastating disease and hate to see them suffer. I only saw it mentioned ONCE in Scammel's book. Is this being done a lot where I should recommend it to them?
Yes! Check out cpnhelp.org for the Wheldon Protocol. There are also studies currently underway in British Columbia using minocycline for early MS and ones that were just completed in the UK using Doxycycline for MS. I have the articles bookmarked on my laptop, but the screen isn't working and it needs to go into the workshop. Perhaps someone else here has bookmarked these and can share them with you in the meantime.
Here is a brief synopsis of a study on mice with MS-like symptoms on the RBF website under “Studies”, then “Adjunct Research”.

I have a particular interest in this, as well, as my brother has chronic progressive MS.
You might also be interested to do some research on the connection of Lyme Disease to MS. My Lyme doc showed me a map of the incidence of Lyme and overlaid it on a map of the incidence of MS in the US and the two were virtually indistinguishable. He has a particular interest in the connection of Lyme with rheumatoid disease and MS and has also quoted a study where they found spirochetes in the spinal fluid of all the MS patients involved.
Try searching on CanLyme as there are some interesting articles there…here's one:
