A thought here inspired by all the other large rewards for things these days.
What if all of us, those with rheumatic diseases, and those who love them all got together and donated one dollar a year. All this money would go into a pot that becomes a reward for the person who discovers a cure – A REAL CURE not a palliative treatment, not a delaying tactic – for Rheumatic disease. I wonder if the tempation of that reward would be big enough to inspire someone to go against the prevailing way of dealing with the disease and actually find a cure.
Just thinking here.
